"At first i was a liitle apprehensive about having a car imported from Japan; how would i know what i was going to get? How did i know the car wouldnt be not as described?
These were my main concerns, but from the first moment i spoke to Andy, after having found 200bhpcars.com, i was instantly reassured. I was told all the relevant information about the car, and i was even given help on finding the right insurance quote (which can be difficult, being 25 and wanting to drive a performance vehicle).
The car had been fully serviced and thoroughly checked, and even after i had purchased the car Andy was happy to help with any queries i had.
If you are looking to buy a japanese import, i would have to say you've made a good decision - looks, reliability and performance all at the fraction of the price of a similar UK car, and there's no easier, safer, hassle-free and enjoyable way of doing so, than through 200bhp cars. Highly recommended!"

Despite the few small problems im still very happy with the car and i
would like to thank you for everything you did, you provide an excellent
service and id have to say you are the nicest car salesman ive ever come
accross, normally they are all a$$ holes just wanting to make a sale but you
really seem to care about the cars and customers and that makes a difference.
Thanks again,

Astro Van
Hi andy, just a quick note to say thank you, the service you provided was excellent, i would also like to say thank you to your father for all his hard work in getting the van together and cleaned for collection, as you know i searched a long time to find the right van (seen a lot of wrong ones) and i was starting to think there were no good ones, until i payed you a visit, what a refreshing change to find someone who cares about what vehicles they import. the astro has been faultless and i am now putting the miles on the clock!! the kids love it and my wife keeps droping hints that i can have the suzuki back!! once agian andy, a big thank you and i hope you have contiued sucess. Honda Civic SIR - 1600VTEC
Hi Andy, the drive back to Southport was long to say the least. However, it seemed to go a lot faster after I threw Paul Weller out the window and settled for no music at all. Seriously though, the civic is better than I could have imagined, it's immaculate in every repsect. So i'd like to say a massive thankyou to yourself, Danielle and the mechanics for the hard work. The service you provide is nothing short of excellant and i'll have no hesitation in recommending you to my friends.
Thanks again,
Joe
Paul H - ITR DC2 Forum Owner
About three / four months ago I decided to sell my Fiesta Zetec S for a clio sport. Whilst looking at them I came across a UKDM DC2 in Swindon. I instantly fell in love with them and wanted to know more. Thats when I came across this site and DC5.com.
I decided (after much ummming ahd argghhing) to import a fresh one from Japan. Some of my firends on ZSOC.Com had heard good things about Andy from 200BHPCars.com so I gave him a call.
I wanted a 98 spec one as initially I just preferred the alloys and on reading about them more decided I wanted this instead of a 96 spec. So I gave Andy my wish list and he came back with an offer.
She had 70k on the clock and had two previous owners from Japan. What really caught me was that he said it was in 'outstanding condition' and I just knew that I wanted it. So I put the deposit down then the rest and waited 4 months. Looking back I am so glad I did it but at the time I couldn't believe what I was doing.
Andy was really helpful but what really impressed me was the last week before picking it up. The car was stuck in customs (due to holidays) and we were running three days late. He managed to mot the car, service it, clay it and sort out all the registration paperwork within three days. I couldn't have asked for more and he really came into his own at the end of it.
What also impressed me was I flew up to Newcastle to pick it up and he took the time to take me through the car, discuss it with me, test it with me, let me test drive it and not leave until i was happy. However, nothing prepared me for just how mint the car was (given it was 10 years - it looked new) and just how much he had done. I'll shut up and let you see the pics:
I was so impressed with the car. I was prepared to take 'outstanding' with a pinch of salt but to his credit it was completely true. She is amazing and runs like a dream, she is so smooth and the vtec is draw jopping.
If anyone is tempted to use him or has concerns then I don't think you can do better. Even now looking out the window I think wow and I am so thankful I used someone reputable and who came through beyond belief. If I do it again then he will be my only choice.
Hopefully see you soon, Cheers for reading. Also I'd like to say a personal thanks to Andy. Apparently I can be fussy at times (according to the ex) and he came through (despite issues which were out of his control) with flying colours and he is everything you would want and expect from an importer if not more.
