MOST PEOPLE COME TO US TO IMPORT A CAR FROM JAPAN FOR ONE OF THE
FOLLOWING REASONS |
1. Find a cheaper example of the car you want than you could in the UK
2. Import a better condition, lower mileage vehicle for you £££ compared
to a UK example
3. Your looking for a Model not available in the UK

The most common reason for people importing through us it find the exact car they are looking for at the right price with 10,000’s of miles less on the clock and in fantastic condition.
This is exactly the reason i first imported my own car from Japan. I knew what i wanted, but I didn’t want to pay £5-£6000 pounds for it from a dealer here in the UK for a potentially abused car.
Instead, I imported my perfect Mitsubishi FTO from a dealer in Japan and paid £2000 less for it that i would have in the UK. Worth the 6-week wait for it to be delivered? Absolutely....!

The main reason of course is not having the contacts. Finding a good dealer in Japan to source cars is difficult. Then of course you have to take care of all the paperwork, export shipping haulage, insurance, import and VAT duty.
When it arrives in the UK , you also need to –
Meet it at port
Register the car
Tax and MOT it also
Encounter all paperwork (VAT, Customs, DVLA)
Make UK Mods (MPH conversion, Fog light etc)
All of this without having the relevant business insurance or trade plates - Not to mention that you have to pay for the car In full before you even see it in the flesh with no returns….
Some companies advertise this service, but only deliver half of what you need! Leaving you to do all the UK side paperwork, tax, and MOT
We do everything, we even deliver if nessesary
All cars bought through our personal import service are imported through ourselves, registered in your name as the 1st UK Owner, Taxed for 6 months (12 on request), have a full 12months MOT, Category 1 Alarm can be fitted for just an additional £200, and also have a Radio band expander fitted so you can use the original radio/cd player to listen to UK radio stations - we also make sure that the clocks are converted to Mph and have the car serviced and Valeted. |
Sounds great, Yes? Whats the catch? Is it going to cost you thousands more than if you bought a UK car?
Well actually no! Our policy is to provide all this service through our experience in the industry, at a price which will almost certainly be at least hundreds or even thousands of pounds less than the "settle for, higher mileage equivelant" available to you here in the uk.
